Microcredit

The main intention behind this post is the reflection of my latest readings from 'Swaminomics' editorial section of 'The Times of India'. 'Anjumans deprive Muslim Women of microcredit'.

In India religion, language, community is used as a powerful weapon. A small trigger can impact a major explosion. So Let's talk about the Microcredits in general.

Microcredits, say as microloans is originated by Bangladesh Grameen Bank during 1970 by Muhammed Younus. Even he won Nobel prize for this financial innovation. Microcredits is different from general finance in such a way that the aim of microcredits is to develop socioeconomic by building trust, employment opportunities, micro-entrepreneurship etc., This is an excellent tool to eradicate poverty and improving self-help scheme. When traditional credit systems won't work with these people, microcredits gained lot of popularity and it got it's own objective achieved. The government cannot make employment for each and every individual in the country, but this sort of proposals can wake everyone up towards self-employment. When I say self-employment, I remember a case; in my native village few families prepare 'namkeens', sweets and the neighbours buy from them. The same thing can be done in a better way with the use of microcredits; They can extend to sell packed snacks, they can also make paper bags and supply to shops along with this and make our country 'plastic' free. Again I don't want to take the controversy of paper usage and environment. We can't make it as eBag!!

The opportunities can be created by investing little time by analysing the environment. What is available, what is needed, what is our strength etc., Nowadays 'Organic' virus spreads across the world. Some people can think of it in villages that some part of land can be 'demilitarize' from pesticides, artificial manures etc., and packed organic things can be exported. There is a high demand in western countries. We humorously see 'made in china' mobiles. Lets applaud the advancement in technology and look at the provided features. How come they could make it so cheap? Religion is to make betterment of human life. We relax lot of things and we interpret lot of things which are inclined to us. This is what my view in response to Mr. Aiyar's edits. Thanks for your valuable time to read this post.
